A new independent firm led by experienced assurance and finance professionals
AMS Chartered Accountants was established to provide partner-led audit, tax and advisory support for organisations operating in Afghanistan. Our firm is new. Our leadership experience is not. We built AMS to combine technical discipline, local operating knowledge and practical client support in one independent practice.
Why AMS was established
Organisations operating in Afghanistan often need more than routine bookkeeping. They need reliable audit support, stronger controls, workable tax guidance and reporting that stands up to scrutiny from boards, donors, management and regulators. AMS was founded to meet that need with focused, partner-led work.
What we are building
Our mission is to strengthen financial governance, reduce risk and support compliance through objective assurance and practical advisory work. Our aim is to become a trusted firm in Afghanistan by delivering consistent technical quality, transparency and independence.
Vision, mission and values
AMS was established with a long-term purpose: to deliver reliable professional services today while helping strengthen Afghanistan’s future finance and audit capacity.
Vision
To become one of Afghanistan’s most trusted Afghan-led professional services firms, recognised for reliable assurance, practical financial advisory and the development of Afghan professional talent — contributing to a future where Afghanistan has stronger local capacity in finance, audit and professional services.

Connected to Afghanistan’s next generation of finance professionals
AMS Chartered Accountants is connected to RAAD Institute, a professional education initiative focused on ACCA and CIA training in Afghanistan. Together, AMS and RAAD reflect a long-term commitment to strengthening local capability in finance, audit, accounting and internal audit.
RAAD Institute was founded by the same professional group behind AMS Chartered Accountants. While AMS supports organisations through audit, accounting, tax and advisory services, RAAD focuses on preparing students and working professionals for internationally recognised qualifications including ACCA and CIA.
This connection gives AMS a broader purpose than client service alone. The partners are not only serving organisations today; they are also investing in the future pipeline of Afghan finance professionals through teaching, mentorship and professional development.
For clients, this matters because it reflects long-term thinking, technical discipline and a practical commitment to the local professional market. For students, it shows that professional education can connect to real practice, real firms and real career pathways in Afghanistan.
